The LawVu API is the platform which supports a wider ecosystem of apps and integrations.

Customers and integration partners can utilise our API to connect other systems, creating unique solutions to drive efficiency for the Legal team and wider business.

LawVu API Developer Journey

Step 1

Sign up for a developer portal account in our "Integrations" environment. This is a sandbox environment where you can freely develop and test your integration.

Step 2

When you're ready to kick the tyres, request a "Subscription Key" and LawVu credentials by emailing api@lawvu.com.

Step 3

Build out your integration, using documentation found in this portal as a reference. If you have specific queries about what is possible or how to use a specific endpoint, please let us know.

Step 4

Now that you've got a working integration that you're ready to ship, reach out to us to organise production API access. We will ask you any relevant questions and issue you with a Production API subscription key.

Authentication

Access to the LawVu Developer API is authenticated using the OAuth 2.0 authorization code flow.
